In Home Consultation FAQs
Our in-home consultation is a dedicated time for us to walk through your space together, understand your goals, and begin dreaming up the best solutions tailored to you. We'll take notes, measurements, and photos so that when it's time to begin the project, we're already a step ahead.
It totally depends on your schedule and what you need! Some consultations are a quick 20 minutes, while others take up to an hour. We’re happy to stay as long as it takes to get a true sense of your space, your needs, and how we can best support you.
Yes! The consultation fee is credited toward your booked project, so it’s truly an investment in getting started the right way.
Yes—we’ll take detailed photographs and measurements of your space during the consultation. This helps us move more efficiently when it’s time to implement your customized systems or design solutions. Occasionally, an additional Taylored Spaces team member may join us to assist and ensure we capture everything we need.
Nothing fancy! Just have your space as it is—we want to see how you actually use it. If you have any inspiration photos, budget ideas, or a list of goals or pain points, those are helpful too but totally optional.
After we’ve seen your space and talked through your needs, we’ll follow up with a proposed plan and next steps. If you decide to move forward, we’ll hit the ground running with your project, already armed with all the info we need.
Absolutely! This is your time. We encourage you to share anything on your mind—challenges, wish-list ideas, or even the things that just aren’t working.
